About Tracy

Hello, my name is Tracy Gatlin, owner and operator of Tracy's Hair Studio. Welcome to my website! I have been a hair stylist since 1996. I had always desired to become a stylist and after 15 years of being an x-ray technician I finally went back to school to pursue this interest. After graduating from Tennessee Tech I apprenticed under Mitzi Bishop at Bishop’s Salon in Bellevue, TN. I gained further experience at Salon Bella in Nashville before moving to my studio on Music Row in 1998 (pictured at the right). Shortly thereafter, I attended advanced hair cutting at Toni and Guy in Dallas, Texas to learn precision cutting so that all my cuts last and keep a good shape until your next salon visit.

My studio is a very unique salon setting, featuring a private room for a one-on-one consultation and services. I consider myself a good communicator, which is imperative when determining the best strategy for giving the client just the look they are hoping for. I am very experienced in professional highlighting and coloring. I am very detailed oriented and can consistently give you the same cut or color every time you visit.
